Refund & Returns Policy

At OwlKeys, we sell genuine digital software license keys. Because of the intangible nature of the product and the fact that license keys cannot be physically returned once issued, we have formulated the following transparent refund policy.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are only granted when all of the following conditions are met:

• The request is made within 7 calendar days of purchase.
• The license key has not been activated.
• You can provide proof (screenshots, error messages) that the key is non-functional and we are unable to provide a working replacement within 72 hours.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds or exchanges are not possible if:

• The key has already been activated or partially used.
• You purchased the wrong product (e.g., Windows Home instead of Windows Pro).
• You changed your mind after successful activation.
• You failed to read the system requirements or compatibility details listed on the product page.
• The product was purchased during a limited-time sale or bundled promotion.

3. How to Request a Refund

1. E-mail us at [email protected] with the subject “Refund Request – Order #XXXX”.
2. Include your order number, date of purchase, and a detailed reason for the refund.
3. Attach any supporting evidence (error codes, screenshots).

We will respond within 1 business day and aim to process approved refunds within 7-10 business days.

4. Method of Refund

Refunds are issued via the original payment method. Partial refunds (e.g., after deduction of gateway charges) may be applicable in certain cases where the payment processor retains non-refundable fees.

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us first. Filing a chargeback without contacting us will result in immediate suspension of any associated accounts and may complicate the refund process.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on this page.
